London City Big Band

The popular London City Big Band return to the Spice of Life for the first outing of 2019. This month's performance will showcase selected songs from the iconic live album 'SINATRA AT THE SANDS', which featured Frank Sinatra accompanied by the mighty Count Basie Orchestra known then as the 'Swing Machine' and directed by young arranger Quincy Jones. Evoking Sinatra's heartfelt vocals will be the acclaimed big band singer SHANE HAMPSHIER with the London City Big Band playing the stunning arrangements by the likes of Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Quincy Jones and Billy Byers.
