Tru Wealth

Tru Wealth known since birth as Cregg Dennis, and also known by his Artist name Alex Wealth, is an American hip hop artist/producer, radio host and director.   
Born In Boston, Massachusetts, Tru resided there until he was 8.  He then moved to Plymouth, MA with his Father, who became his custodial parent.  While attending elementary school in Plymouth, Tru entered and won various talent shows, while also managing to annoy many of his teachers due to his constant singing, humming and drumming on the desks in his classes.  It wasn't until Tru attended Plymouth North High School that he realized he wanted to venture into actually making "beats".  At this stage of his life, Tru also began rapping in the cafeteria, and singing for the school and church choir. At the age of 18, Tru Wealth elected to move back to Boston, where he began his search for stardom.
Tru’s passion entails working with and helping to groom new up and coming solo artists and groups.  He absolutely treasures the process of molding singers, by imparting them a certain style that reflects their talent, while he attempts to strongly influence their personality as well. In 2010 Tru Wealth moved to Atlanta and was connected with multi platinum producer Drumma Boy , where he became in-house engineer and recorded sessions for many artists including Atlanta Hip Hop artist Scotty ATL, Kap G, Musiq Soulchild and more. Tru Wealth collaborated on production with Drumma boy and his brother the late Ensayne Wayne during his time as a Drum Squad engineer those influences can still be heard in his production. One of the songs released as Tru Wealth of  Drum Squad was Young Buck " Pull Up" which dropped In 2015  the song debuted on Young Buck's ‘Before The Beast’. featuring Cap 1 and Lil Boosie.
In the summer of 2015, Tru wealth opened Aspire TV’s Hoops n Hip-Hop Tour, sharing the stage with Cap 1 , 2 Chainz, Bankroll Fresh, Skooly, J young and Lord Sauce. Performing his singles “Aikido” and “Hyyah”.
In 2016 Tru Wealth released Wealthyones , which had a song featuring platinum writer K-so called "On The Table" , whom is known for his writer credits including Kee Kee Palmer's "Bossy". 
In 2017 Tru wealth released his last project as a musical artist under the name "Tru Wealth" , which featured Kang Mojo , Kaasim , Drumma Boy J-Sqruipt and Oj Da Juice Man. The project was called " I Got Wealth " , Which is Tru Wealth's Producer tag, it was named   I Got Wealth because it was produced entirely by Tru Wealth . The I Got Wealth project reached over 2 million streams on soundcloud, the main song being " Good Good" ft J-Sqruipt garnering over 1 million of those streams.
In 2018 Tru started wealthyearsradio, its flagship show #Dropitorstopit , a hip hop & Rnb Review show, which has helped many artist connect, grow and build their sound.  Atlanta musician , Tru Wealth , garnered national attention by having accoladed guests come to help artists, offer feedback and connect intimately with fans and aspiring musical artists giving them live reviews of their music and advice for artist development. Some of the guests to appear are platinum musical artist/producer King James Worthy, platinum engineer/producer Peezy Mane, Mr Macnificent74 , Dave Tolliver, Mykko Montana A&R Ziggy Cook and more.  Drop it or stop it has received over 30,000 submissions world wide, and major artists including platinum International reggae artist Mr Vegas has sent his music to be tested. Drop it or stop it has since become a great place for A&R's to find new developing talent, Producers to get new clients, and upcoming artists connect with other artists and get features and placements.
As of august 2019 Tru Wealth's major/semi producer credits include : Drumma Boy , Oj Da Juice Man, Cap 1, Young Buck, Mulatto , Solo Lucci, Slumgodtravv, Mykko Montana , 1 Playy , Dead Prez and Bando Jones and more which are either out, or yet to release.
The first release by Tru Wealth , under the alias Alex Wealth was with Fame Deniro called Energy.
In August 2019 Tru Wealth released his first EP under the alias Alex Wealth , called Paranoid.
