The Media

It's been 37 years since Portsmouth's premier punk / mod crossover band The Media graced a local stage, but to celebrate the release of rare archive material the original members have reformed and will be playing a reunion show to coincide with the release of the first single from those sessions. Martin Jacks (vocals), Brian Lee (drums), Pete Rossie (guitar) and Michael 'Chello' Whichello (bass) shot to prominence with landmark single releases "No Darling I Love The Media" and "South Coast City Rockers", but sadly split in 1981 before their debut album could be unleashed upon the world.
