This.Broken.Mixtape podcast is celebrating two years and nearly 80 episodes with our first-ever storytelling event. The night will showcase a fantastic lineup of guests who will share stories about how a particular song or album is connected to a specific memory -- whether it's how a Miles Davis song reminds Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll of the time he moved into a dingy basement apartment, or how Nas' Illmatic transformed Big Norman Alconcel from a good Christian boy into a 'Rude Boi' Scarborough street dweller. Our lineup of storytellers include talented musicians (Maya Killtron, Tara Kannangara, Chelsey Bennett, DJ Cosmo), comedians (Rhiannon Archer, Big Norman Alconcel, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll), and music industry peeps (David Hayman, Gaurav Sawhney). The storytelling portion (8:15 pm-9:15 pm) will be followed by a dance party courtesy of selections by DJ This broken mixtape. *Please note that we will be recording the audio of the show to be released as an episode in late July.
