3Eighty3 Biography

It might have been in the tuba band school room that Matt first met Jude - it was soundproof and they could play their guitars loud.

Certainly Zac, Matt, Bo and Jude worked together to steal beers from the coolers at Texas Hippie Coalition party Qs.

As a child Jude had been running around the bars of Deep Ellum with his father’s band Blind Dog Cooley. It was there, in late 2014 that 3Eighty3 played their first show at The Prophet Bar.

The prophecy, even on that first night, was that the famed Dallas music scene had, once again, incubated some serious Texas chemistry and tapped into the raw power of The Universe.

‘Raw Fuckin’ Power’ is the first disc that the band recorded with Chris Catero and Alan Niven in Arizona in the Spring of 2016.

Catero, the bass beast of Razer, and a former sideman to Marty Friedman, was brought to the project by Niven, who has been associated in the past with the likes of Motley Crue, Dokken, Angel City, Great White and Guns n’ Roses.

“Raw fuckin’ power? It is not every day you hear something fast and loud that also has an intelligent spirit,” says the old English rocker. “3Eighty3 is pure red blooded rock n’ roll - blue collar heart with a white lightning soul.”
