Black Man White

Wycombe based founding members David Blackman (music, production) and Lloyd White (vocals, lyrics) have evolved their friendship and song writing together over 25 years. Their passion for music has enabled them to adapt and recreate while still portraying a unique underlying signature sound - a fusion of cinematic, alternative and electronic-tinged indie.

Often compared with Muse, this latest and more edgy album, Renegades, drives hard with pumping bass, anthemic guitar hooks and distressed vocal melodies giving them a Royal Blood sound. The music and lyrics are dark and intense evoking emotion and escapism - a journey that touches violence, exploitation, greed and oppression yet brings messages of hope, vision, defiance and survival.

Influences? Black Man White is a band that won’t be pigeon-holed, but draw from bits of everything, from Bowie though to Muse, Artic Monkeys, Depeche Mode and The Verve.

A five piece live line up (vocals, drums, bass, guitars and keys) completes the band.
