Vultures of Chaos County

Vultures of Chaos County is an ALL ORIGINAL MUSIC group from Springfield, Missouri. With an all-star cast of musicians, the VOCC writes songs in the vein of Grunge Rock, but with a unique twist. We like to call it GenXindie, but labels defy us. Our songs tend to include a little bit of Americana, some hip-hop and a whole heap of rock and roll. Raucous and always energetic, our shows thrive on storytelling and good old hooks. Frontman Danny Maple has been classified as a "...ball of fire onstage..." by 417 Magazine, while partners-in-kakaw Mike Gomez, Jack Jennings and Don Orrell solidify the ROCK foundation that Maple dances on. Gomez's slinky guitar rhythms and melodies flow over the VOCC grunge like a daisy sliding off an oil spill. Jennings and Orrell create a pocket like no other rhythm section as Jack's basslines rumble and scoot at lightening speed. Orrell schools us nightly in the laws of rock and roll as his crashing cymbals and tight-locked fills thunder the crowd into a rock and roll frenzy. An all original blend of rock, funk and hip-hop, the VOCC rocks the flock out!!
