RISE (aka Jo Beth Young) is an English songwriter whose relentlessly authentic songs and mesmeric voice cut deep into the fabric of human frailty with a visionary sound swaying hypnotically between dream folk and progressive grit; at times dark but always beautiful. "A voice that can only be described as like a Tolkein Elf, It is rich in harmonics, ethereal and just plain gorgeous!" Fatea Magazine This show will preview RISE'S new album ' Strangers ' due for release in October. She'll be performing the album with her band.
