City of light is a gospel rock band based in Nelson - New Zealand. Formed in 2011, the name bands name was inspired by the small south island town of Reefton – the first place in New Zealand and the Southern hemisphere to receive a public supply of electricity with lighting and be christened the ‘town of light’.
