Andrew DiMarzo Trio

On July 20th, we are bringing incredible local Hip-Hop, Soul/Rock music and live Beats together for the benefit of the Boston Community. This show will only encapsulate a small cross-section of the amazing talent that this city has to offer, but we hope that it will contribute to the growing cross-cultural and cross-genre attitude that this city's culture has been both needing and endorsing more so over the last several years. Boston is dope, and the people in it are amazing. PERIOD. The point of this show is to continue supporting this city's incredible, and thriving music community, and to keep our community moving towards a city that reflects the world, rather than keeping ourselves in the outdated bubble of our past. The truly incredible Forté will headline with some of the best Hip-Hop live performance in Boston, Andrew DiMarzo and his band will hold down the middle of the evening with tight soul/rock vibes and high-energy, and Lightfoot will open the evening with world-class beats and creative production. Pops knew that music was something that he would never leave alone. Growing up in a church-going Haitian household, Forte was forced to join the church choir which later served as a solid foundation for singing vocals. Adolescence frequently introduced young Forté to the triumphs and short comings of life in the streets and at home which make for an eclectic mix of perspective and versatile musical style. Andrew’s unique style infuses elements of Rock & RnB that is reminiscent of artists like Jeff Buckley and Mint Condition. To date, Andrew DiMarzo has headlined at venues in NYC, Burlington, Boston and more, and has co-billed with nationally revered acts like Ali McGuirk (Boston Music Award Winner for both Best Blues Artist + Songwriter), Oldsoul + Toledo (Nationally Touring) and Plastic Picnic (175,000+ Monthly Spotify Listeners). Straddling the hip hop and electronic world, his music is inspired by heavy drums and electronic sound scapes. He has collaborated with dozens of Boston artists, is heavy into the NYC scene, and has collaborated with local producers like Rah Zen, Rilla and Dephrase to promote the production and beat-making community of the Northeast through workshops all over the Boston area.
