Kaishi

Kaishi project was born in July 2014 formed by Myra already known as a dj and member of italian drum’n’bass Pinknoise Kollective. Continuosly moving between Milan and London, she started her career in Uk Garage/Grime/Bass House vibes in March 2014, launching independently a radio show called Venus Garage, on www.bassisland.fm, the main radio in Italy completely dedicated to Bass Music. Beside the radio career, behind the decks, Kaishi creates her own style by combining Uk Garage, House, Jersey, Bassline, Club & Grime music with influences that come from a musical background of old school jungle, drum and bass, and hip hop. She holds a unique style in her production that consists of multiple heavy bass elements. Shes injected bassline, UK, and electro house into her works. From catchy vocals, cut up-break-kick patters, to explosive wobbles, Kaishi’s sound easily meets the expectation of today’s heavy bass listener. Kaishi supported big names along the way, including Zeds Dead (Usa), Nero (Uk), Ed Rush (Uk), Terranoise (Israel) and many more. She also earned a spot in many lineups of important events: Made in Woman Festival, Festa della Musica, Artistic Women, We Own the Night by Nike, Sonnentanz Festival (CH), where she played beside big names like Camo & Krooked, Ed Rush & Optical, Robin Schulz, Ben Klock and during the Milan Fashion Week at Cristiano Burani Party. She spent some time in L.A. where she played at The Lash, next to important names like Dj Hood (Brick Bandits) and R3ll (Dim Mak). As producer, she released several remixes of classic 90s anthems such as Ciara-Oh, Twenty 4 Seven- I can’t stand, Tlc-Creep and many others. During 2015 / 2016 she released tracks for Noiseybeat Netlabel (IT), Jump-A-Delic Recordz (DE), Elastica Records (IT), Doner Music (IT), Project Allout Records (UK), Top Billin (FI), Ultra Bass Records (UK) and various blogs like Trench Bass Music Repost, Certified and Subsound. She gained so much support along her way, so that her productions have been played on radio like Rinse Fm Uk, Rinse France, Nts, Sub Fm & more and she was guest of The Marcus Nasty Show on Rinse FM.
