Sebas Ramis

Sebas Ramis became interested in electronic music back in the late 90’s, broadcasting on Friday’s night at a local radio station. However, it wasn’t until mid-2001 when he started mixing his first vinyls at some events in his own club (Aloha Club).
During the 2000’s decade, Sebas became a resident Dj at one of the most valued clubs in Spain at that time, Sala Fónica. Furthermore, during the same period, he started promoting his own events, first with Little Rouge and later in 2006 by founding Sub_Urban and making of his events one of the most famous and influencing parties on the island, appearing as one of the “underground music” trendsetters for Mallorca until the end of the decade.
In 2005, together with Isaac Indart, they created the Malo Records label and after releasing their first Ep’s in vinyl, they remixed “Mr. Bannoffler” track by Tato, Pig&Dan in 2007. By the end of 2009, after several years playing at some of the best clubs in the national scene, he was invited to Dj at the first Rabid Festival in London with over 50 international artists.
One of his most remarked tracks was “House Ha Ha”, released by Anhura Records in 2011. This track received support by huge artists such as Marco Carola or the classic X-press 2 amongst others. Later, he would release other Ep’s such as “Traction” for his own label that was completed with Lomez and was remixed by Tato Isgud in 2012 or “Egg’s” Ep that would be signed by Matt Star’s German label Aleman Musique Unique back in 2013.
2012 presented himself with a unique career opportunity when Sebas was offered to become a resident Dj at Purobeach Montenegro, located in the old Yugoslavia, where he would uncover and exploit his deeper and ‘souler’ side. After a season in the Balcans, he became the brand’s oficial Dj, travelling through Europe and Middle East. Also, that same year Sub_Urban released their first Ep, becoming the artist’s second label.
Currently, Sebas Ramis is the Sound Director for this beach clubs chain for whom he recorded, both physical and digital compilations, for the Puro Beach Volume 10 in 2014. Moreover, he also remixed the Desert Lounge Volume 5 and the 10th Anniversary Limited Edition collaborating with Kiko Navarro and Ben Sowton, owner at Seamless Recordings who used to be in charge of these brand compilations previously.
In 2015, he coordinated the birth of “Puro Music”, the brand’s oficial label, opening a new series of compilations for Purobeach The Global Adventure & Puro Urbano.
