About this concert
Sariyah will play a solo set at 8:30pm at Noize Fabrik where she recorded her single "You Got To Go".
Following our announcement to close the doors of Noize Fabrik, we have decided we cannot end this chapter without having a good send-off with all the people who've been part of our community since we opened in December 2015.
We invite all of you coworkers, musicians who have used our studios, artists who have performed in our venue, professionals who have facilitated workshops, old and new friends who have attended jam sessions, BBQ's, community lunches or have come to any of the 400+ events behind us and have since become family... to join us one last time for an incredible closing party.

Sariyah Idan Biography
Sariyah Idan is a New York bred and New Orleans based independent and internationally touring singer-songwriter, music producer, poet, dancer, and theater artist. She believes in the power of personal story and interdisciplinary performance to transform individuals, communities, and societies.
As a singer-songwriter and music director she has rocked iconic venues like The Kennedy Center in DC, The Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe in NYC, and Noize Fabrik in Berlin. In 2019 she was a Virginia Giordono Memorial Fund Honoree for performances of her album “Breaking Shadows”, recorded in Los Angeles, Berlin, and Lisbon. As a music artist she is jazz and folk trained, hip-hop educated, and influenced by both Latinx/Caribbean sounds and her Jewish roots. Praised for her "ability to seamlessly combine a wide variety of disparate styles and sonics into a memorable sound all her own," (Tinnitist) she views honoring the sounds of both influences and ancestors as a form of cultural activism. Her music has been featured on Pacifica and NPR stations, in addition to college radio and online radio platforms.
