Mars on the Harp

Mars is an experimental-folk singer, songwriter, harpist, and performer currently living and working on Tiohtiá:ke also known as Montreal. Using voice, harp, loops, and her imagination, Mars strives to create a dreamlike state in which to tell soothing stories and bring nightmarish shadows into the light. Mars has been playing live shows steadily for the past three years, starting on Saturna Island BC, across the country with the VIA Rail Artists on Board program, and all over Montreal. Notable events were the House Show Festival in St Calixte Sept 2018, accompanying a live show at the MAC in January 2019, and her Album Release Concert at La Vitrola in Montreal, August 25th 2019.
