Epitaph Romance Biography
The doctor and his assistant search frantically for a cure. A madman, driven by the siren songs of doom, believes himself possessed. His only comfort lies in the sweet melodies of the haunted doll he both cherishes and fears. The building stands cold and alone when the demon awakens. A black cloud of terror engulfs them. A plague upon their souls have returned them from the grave and bound them. They bring a mass of horror to the huddled masses of the once beautiful city, now encompassed by screams and a ring of fire. Their only connection to this plane is the life entranced by wicked sounds of the night, captured in the eyes of all that bestow a vision upon them. They have brought the true sound and vision of horror to exist within the depths of Hell Paso.
From the six-foot depths of a mass grave, in El Paso, TX comes the most Authentic Texas Horror band this side of the Rio Grande. Chuck Hemorrhage, Dr. Markubus Madbrain, Nika Moonblood, Christopher Headcase, and Jesus Gore-Tega create a mixture of punk, metal, goth rock and psychobilly with a theatrical touch of horror that alone makes them worth gazing eyes upon. From eternal love to the taste of blood, Epitaph Romance combines melodic harmonies and the stench of death vocally and musically. Their genre of music can only be classified as pure HORROR.
Since their rise from the grave in 2010, ExRx has had the privilege of gracing the stage with Horror acts such as:The Other, Mushroomhead, Genitorturers, B Movie Monsters, Doyle, Blitzkid, Saturday Nite Shockers, Koffin Kats, Henchmen, The Returners, Calabrese, Stellar Corpses, The Creepshow, The Limit Club, Rezurex, The Independents, 45 Grave, Cancerslug, Blacklist Union, Darrow Chemical Company, First Jason, Wednesday 13, Aiden, One-Eyed Doll, Kitty in a Casket, Raven Black, Scarlet Canary and many more.
With influences like Alice Cooper, King Diamond, The Misfits, Iron Maiden, Tiger Army, Nekromantix, Cradle of Filth, The Damned and many, many more it would be impossible to credit one act or style as the band draws inspiration from all walks of music: metal, punk and rockabilly and even classical, jazz and country. From these varied sounds they Frankenstein their creations but the greatest influence for them all is the lust for thrilling gore and horror movies and their romanticism of love beyond the grave…
