Cancelled

As from now, Cancelled (CND) will rock the stage as Demia. It has been a difficult, but well thought through decision that the band had to make. Guitarist Daan says the following on this issue: "The name Cancelled started out as sort of a joke that was kind of catchy and also did result in a lot of recognition, but when we started playing abroad more and more it turned out that the obvious problems on posters, flyers and program leaflets were pretty serious". "There's also other bands called cancelled. And to lessen our chances just out of stubbornness would be stupid, in the end it's the music that counts", adds guitarist Robert. The band has just recorded their debut full length album in Los Angeles with producers Logan Mader (of Machine Head / Soulfly fame) and Lucas Banker (Junkie XL).
