April Mae & the June Bugs Biography
The group was founded by April Iorio, lead vocalist and songwriter from the group South Saturn Delta. April and Dave have played regionally, toured Memphis, Mexico and were 2009 Emerging Artist finalists at the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas. Their original songs have enjoyed airplay nationally and internationally receiving CD reviews in France, Germany, Belgium and Norway.
April Mae and the June Bugs draw on the talent of these two artists and adds the expressive and exceptional musicianship of upright bassist and songwriter JJ Cullpepper.
