About this concert
Scottish duo The Jellyman's Daughter lands squarely in the middle of a strange crossroads between bluegrass, post-rock, folk and soul. Mixing their unique vocal harmonies with wild and visceral cello, driving guitar and sweet mandolin, Emily and Graham write their songs together with a focus on doing something new. They have played extensively in the UK and have toured across Europe and Canada, while also showcasing the past two years at Folk Alliance in Kansas City. 2018 will see them release their second album with launch dates across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada, sustaining the momentum that has earned them exceptional praise so far.

The Jellyman's Daughter Biography
The Jellyman's Daughter is a Scottish duo featuring Emily Kelly (vocals, guitar, mandolin) and Graham Coe (vocals, cello). After making each other’s acquaintance in the inspiring setting of Edinburgh, Emily and Graham soon found an affinity in the way their voices combined and a new sound in the way they could combine cello and acoustic guitar or mandolin, with influences ranging from bluegrass to post-rock. Graham’s cello in particular added an unique element with his rhythmic, percussive and unconventional playing.
