Corey TuT

A veteran of the downtown New York music scene, Corey TuT has fronted bands, been a solo artist and worked with musicians as diverse as Ad Rock from the Beastie Boys, NYC techno/ house sensations The Ones, Peppermint, multi-platinum recording artist Ultra Nate, and legendary New York producers Super Buddha (Blondie, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters) and shared bills with TV On The Radio, Rufus Wainwright, Tracey Bonham, Reggie Watts and countless others. His songs have been used in several independent films, and in network programs on ABC, The CW, NBC Sports and The NFL. TuT's voice can also be heard in commercials for Toyota, Diet Pepsi, Ford and more. While working the scene leading crunchy guitar driven alternative rock bands, TuT also enjoyed a very successful DJ career, working dancefloors into a frenzy with his signature eclectic mix of pop, electro, and house with a sprinkling of 90's hip hop and an occasional dash of grunge or pop punk to whip the crowd into full blown mosh pit in the middle of the dance party. Over his past few releases, 2013's Chasing Down The Bedlam and most notably 2016's DADDY: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, the two worlds began to converge as more electronic elements began making their way into TuT's guitar-based rock. On his latest release 2017's EP Reality, TuT has found himself fully submerged in electronic music, and reflecting on the current American political climate under the new presidential administration. Exploring elements of Drum and Bass, Trap, Electro, 90's Electronica and Modern Hip Hop, TuT brings his signature stellar vocal delivery and thoughtful lyrics to the fore, delivering a brooding, at times surreal batch of songs that capture the uncertainty of modern life. TuT is also at work on music for the upcoming documentary feature All Male All Nude by Gerald McCullouch about the world of male exotic dancers at Swinging Richards in Atlanta.
