Mary Wander

Mx Wander is a queer, trans masc and nonbinary folkpunk musician from Lancaster, PA. He started writing songs in 2014 and created multiple albums of self-recorded, experimental, harmonized a cappella songs with found percussion.

After struggling with addiction, they joined the recovery community in 2017 and picked up an acoustic guitar for the first time. Mx Wander has since toured all over the US, transitioned publicly as a musician, and played with beloved folkpunk bands like Apes of the State, Holy Locust, Days n Daze, She/Her/Hers, and Rent Strike. While they still write songs about the things they know, their songs are less experimental and more straightforward folkpunk.

Mx Wander is based in Philadelphia, PA (unceded Lenapehoking land).
