A Higher Third

A Higher Third is a rock band from Richmond, Virginia made up of Jackson Howe (vocals, guitar), Jack Morris (bass), Andrew Garcia (guitar, keyboard), Madison Hinson (drums, vocals, guitar) and featuring Ria Khandpur (vocals). In March of 2018, they released their first EP "I Feel Quite Alright." This release follows up on their single "66 and Sunny" and was recorded in their home studio. Their sound encompassing sonic vibes from power pop and indie, to classic rock, funk and everything in between.
In 2018 AHT was able to share the stage with national acts such as Eyes Set To Kill, Dayshell, Braden Barrie, and A Summer High as well as great local acts such as Maxx51, Carter Lou & The Project, RAWLS, and Honest Debts.
Starting in September of 2018 they began writing for their next album. Unlike the previous album, singles from their next release will be recorded in professional studios.
Their influences include: Interpol, Colony House, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, and John Mayer.
