Sat Dec 08 - The South London Soul Train takes it’s annual nod of the eggnog, gets merry and delivers a Christmas Special of epic proportions at The CLF Art Cafe. Your festive guest hosts AJ Kwame (Incognito DJs) plus leading Bristolian Funk Head Boca 45 - welcome Motown throwbacks and ultimate getdown merchants The Soul Brothers (Live) and wait for the mistletoe to fall. It’s a Christmas love in y’all and we gonna keep the temperatures hot, the good times rolling and get our Xmas freak on with you.

Having worked with some of the top singers, choreographers and artists in the UK, performing the best of soul and Motown, this high-energied, soul drenched trio have flawless choreography, sweet harmonies, and powerful leads, to set any dancefloor alight. Believe!
Heshima Thompson
Best known for his extensive acting career (Prime Suspect, Spooks, Eastenders: E20, The Bill) and touring internationally, singing backing vocals for the late, great Amy Winehouse, Heshima is also an accomplished songwriter and vocal producer with credits on Amy Winehouse’s acclaimed album ‘Lioness’ as well as Nas ‘Life Be Good’ and Faya ‘Feel The Heat”.
Heshima has worked with Salam Remi (The Fugees, Cee Lo Green), Rudimental, John Newman, Taio Cruz, and performed on the world’s biggest stages (The Grammy’s, MTV EMA’s, MOBO’s).
Jai Amore
Jai Amore is an artist with a reservoir of work in vocal arrangement, vocal production, songwriting projects and collaborative works alongside the likes of Bless Beats (Jess Glynne, Wiley), Ayak Thiik (JLS, Lil Mix), and continues to wow, with his artistic hunger for grandeur. The MOBO Award winning singer has had releases in Europe, Asia and Africa, performed at many of the great arenas across the UK, such as The Royal Albert Hall, the Olympic Copper Box Arena, Alexandra Palace, Manchester Utd Football Club, and has opened for Beyonce, Jagged Edge, Montell Jordan and Genuine.
Maxamillion Barnes-Davy
As well as being a session vocalist, Max is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Recently graduating from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, where he gained Bmus (Hons) in music performance, Max has already performed around the world and is one third of one of the finest dance acts in the UK right now.

Then on Level 2 [and not to be outdone] let the Funk Mercilessly Flow as your 2nd floor hosts Snowboy & Ben Gibson drop the absolute finest on 45 direct to the torchlit dancefloor. Cue Explosion - time for another red hot dancefloor session in funked up soul.
Level 2 / Room 2: The Hawaiian Bop Trip. Your retrolicious host Richio Suzuki joined by rare 45 super sharp shooter Aldo Vanucci and Bophead Oscar Romp for an epic strictly retrolicious Rock & Roll, 50's R'N'B, 60's Soul & Motown, Vintage Ska & Latin journey from the love side. Aloha baby!
The South London Soul Train 3 Floor, 4 room Line up completed in the Rye Wax / Basment - Time to enter The Reach Up Disco Wonderland. Legendary DJ Andy Smith and Nick Halkes & Crissy Kybosh dropping 80’s boogie, soul, funk, disco and proto house, evoking the spirit and dipping into the soundtrack of legendary NYC clubs such as 'Paradise Garage’ & 'Studio 54’. A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written. Get down!
The South London Soul Train (as always) All floors, will be taking, all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.
However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this ones for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Soul.
