Grin in Fear

Grin in Fear was born between 2017 and 2018, from the meeting of musicians coming back to Sardinia after their experience around the world. After a few months of research and line-up changes, the band solidifies: Sara Mei on vocals, Ambra Deagostini (Blind Horizon) and Eros Melis (Holy Martyr, Irreverence) on guitars, Gino Cirina on bass and Marco Scafidi (Blind Horizon) on drums.
Grin in Fear is the grin that deforms your face when you are scared; the grin is the altered image that you use as a defense, to dissimulate your dismay with a grimace.
The grin is a mask that hides our thoughts and our feelings, one of the many masks we all wear in our life.. because what is living among other people, but wearing the right mask at the right time?

I Grin in Fear nascono tra il 2017 ed il 2018 dall'incontro di musicisti di ritorno in Sardegna dalle proprie esperienze per il mondo. Dopo alcuni mesi di ricerca e cambi di formazione, il gruppo si solidifica nella formazione attuale, che vede Sara Mei alla voce, Ambra Deagostini (Blind Horizon) ed Eros Melis (Holy Martyr, Irreverence) alle chitarre, Gino Cirina al basso e Marco Scafidi (Blind Horizon) alla batteria.
Grin in Fear è il ghigno che deforma il tuo viso quando la paura ti assale; è l’immagine alterata che usi come difesa per dissimulare lo smarrimento in una smorfia.
Il ghigno è una maschera che nasconde il nostro pensiero e i nostri sentimenti, una delle tante maschere che indossiamo nel corso della nostra vita... perchè vivere insieme agli altri cos’altro è, se non indossare la maschera giusta al momento giusto?
