We can be contacted by email on mail@greennote.co.uk -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One of Europe's top exponents of New Orleans rhythm and blues, piano player Dom Pipkin breathes new life into the classic funk and RnB sounds of The Meters, Dr John, Fats Domino and Professor Longhair with a stellar list of festival and radio and TV appearances including The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the London Jazz Festival, and an extended residency at Ronnie Scott's jazz club. Pipkin has travelled the world as Musical Director to acts such as Paloma Faith, playing keyboards for Morcheeba, Paul Weller, Laura Mvula, Ray Davies and Pee Wee Ellis to name just a few, but has always kept a close connection to New Orleans, where he is a regular visitor and performer. 2014 saw him sharing a stage with fellow piano stars Allen Toussaint, Jon Cleary, and Ellis Marsalis at the prestigious Piano Night in New Orleans. Every show builds to fever pitch and"..cooks up a steaming musical stew that has the crowd dancing and clapping" - Classic Rock Blues Magazine a highly impressive pianist Fans of Diz Watson, Jon Cleary and Dr John, as well as their late predecessors, should keep an eye out for this band. He's a great piano player Jamie Cullum, live on Radio 2 Quite the revelation! lighting up the British blues and RnB scene at the moment, very very good indeed. A fine band!
