About this concert
Thrilled to be headed back through Europe, for a 7th European tour in as many years, this year, ‘the Breakout tour’ sees Tailor Birds play a huge run of shows through Holland, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Italy, and possibly Switzerland and further afield. We’ll be in Ireland for a few periods this year, and this part of the tour, we’ll be in Ireland for a couple weeks or so, playing a load of local shows and appearances, including the Ennis farmers market.
The market trades from 8am – 2pm, and we’ll likely be there from 10am onwards. It’s free, so come down, get some food, a coffee, say hello, pickup an album or 2. Showcasing tracks off our heavily anticipated 3rd album, the Ennis farmers market is part of a huge run of festivals, street shows, markets, gigs, and more this year, continuing through til mid Sept, when we’ll then be heading into the studio to record our 3rd album. This will then be followed by a winter tour, and who knows what else awaits.

Tailor Birds Biography
Tailor Birds, with electric violin at its' core, this is world folk at its' finest, and music at its' most raw. After 2 albums released over the passed few years, Tailor Birds now bring you their latest offering the lullaby ‘Stilts on the Water’, with support from single, 'White Feather'. This is music to fall asleep to, and to wake up rejuvenated.
Weaving through world folk inspirations, Tailor Birds tell tales of love, loss, hopes, and dreams, that anything is possible. Building an audience that is as diverse as much as it is one, you could say that Sophie is a travelling troubadour. She believes that music should not just be about playing one gig after another with just the music making impact, but is also about connecting her people to something good again, in a world that is constantly changing, this is music to inspire, ignite the spirit, and challenge our inner most desires.
