Dillon Biggs Biography
Houston native singer/songwriter Dillon Biggs offers dreamy and endearing indie pop on his debut EP, Cakewalk (Leap Day 2016). With songs like the heavenly anthem, Take It Easy - a letter of patience written to his younger self. Dillon writes from personal moments of romantic life highs and human resilience. Influenced by artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Sheryl Crow, and Fiona Apple.
Previously involved with NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) as well as a local artist development program, Dillon is now self-releasing original music. In June 2015, Biggs launched single and self-directed music video Another Second Long (Gedeon Films) as a reward for his successfully funded Kickstarter campaign. Cakewalk was recorded in the fall of 2015 at 226 Recording Studios in The Heights Houston, Tx and produced by Jason Bentch (Drop Out Vegas, Oseas Kline).
After a sultry, intimate acoustic showcase during SXSW and Houston's Spring Board South Music Festival in 2016, Dillon released his second self-directed music video for Diet of Cake (Gedeon Films) at The Heights 50th annual White Linen Night. Dillon returned to the SXSW stage in 2017 as a new resident of Austin, TX and is already establishing himself as a timeless indie pop troubadour.
