Rachel Zello Music Biography

Rachel Zello has sung in churches across the U.S. and in churches, ministries, and orphanages in Uzbekistan, India, Guatemala, and Israel. She is a volunteer co-worship leader at her home church, Lifepoint in Virginia, a multi-site church with over 6,000 members and one of the fastest growing churches in America. She comes from a Godly heritage and is the daughter of missionaries. Her grandparents, Mike and Kay Zello are one of the founders of Teen Challenge with David Wilkerson (Kay is mentioned in the “Cross and the Switchblade”) and faithfully served the ministry on a global scale for over 50 years.

Rachel also has a deep passion for victims of human trafficking. In 2016 and 2017 she spent Christmas and New Years in India (and will again in 2018) at a home for children and women who have been rescued from the red light district, which she generously supports and considers them as her “second family."

In the Summer/Fall of 2018 she will be touring for 7 weeks with Aaron Boyd , the founder, lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for Bluetree (2004-2017), a Christian praise and worship band that originated in Belfast's Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) where popular worship songs such as "Days of Elijah" originated. While the band was in Pattaya, Thailand on a missions trip, the divine inspiration for their song, "God of this City” came while they were miraculously allowed to play and sing worship in a bar, in the red light district.

In March of 2018, Aaron Boyd (Belfast, Ireland) and Rachel Zello (Fredericksburg, Virginia) met in Jerusalem via a divine appointment. In the Church of Saint Anne next to the Pool of Bethesda, Aaron and the tour group he was the guest worship leader for walked in while Rachel was doing a live recording. Shortly after they were introduced a spontaneous unrehearsed worship session ensued. The Holy Spirit came down and the powerful moment was caught on camera. It was evident that God orchestrated their meeting. Five days later they were booked to lead worship at a conference with Ruth Graham (Billy Graham's daughter) as the keynote speaker.
