Modern Maps Biography
Modern Maps is an American pop/rock band from Los Angeles. The band consists of Trever Stewart (vocals) alongside brothers, Matthew Hall (drums) and Dominick Hall (guitar). The trio first met when the brothers posted a classifieds ad seeking a vocalist for their project. Trever, being new to Los Angeles from Oregon, responded to their posting and immediately they went to work on self-producing music. They began booking shows throughout the west coast, gaining industry prowess; thus Modern Maps was born.
After a stint of booking shows in Southern California and the surrounding area, the trio decided to focus all of their efforts into writing their first full-length record. With everything in place, the trio traveled to Portland, Oregon to begin production on their debut full length album, 'hope you're happy.', adding Ryan Furlott to co-produce the record along side David Knox.
Shortly after the release of 'hope you're happy.' the band immediately began working on releasing their next single, "Radio Killer". This was the first single and music video released by the trio independently. Upon seeing success with the newly self-released song, they set to work writing again and perfecting their sound. Currently, the band is working on new material, booking tours, and spending long hours in the studio.
