Born Again Virgins

Born Again Virgins is an alt-rock act from Austin, Texas consisting of solo artist Anna Roenigk. Their self-titled debut album, produced by Brian Beattie, (Bill Callahan, Daniel Johnston, Okkervil River) explores both dissonant and melodic sensibilities—some tracks echoing 90’s lo-fi grunge (“Limited Hands”) while others, such as the last track “No Albi,” play on chamber pop theatrics. The group formed in 2013 and has brought their music to the United Kingdom and Europe since.
