Not My Sister is a side project made of the vocalists from the sextet, Upstate. Melanie Glenn, Mary Kenney, and Allison Olender, created Not My Sister to sing a goosebump inducing collection of original tunes, standards, traditionals filled with harmonies and soul. Harking back to groups like The Andrews Sisters, The Boswell Sisters, and the Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris Trio, Not My Sister is an all-female, all-sass, no-nonsense, vocal-driven outfit intent on making you feel high with song.
