Celebrating its 12th year, the Jim Beam Homegrown festival is back on Saturday March 23rd and ready to take it to the next level.
The Wellington Waterfront will come alive with carnival rides, markets, 5 stages and 42 of NZ's favourite acts, as Homegrown delivers Kiwi music's biggest party this summer!

ARE YOU UNDER 18?
All people under 18 will need to register on a special homegrown database. Long story short if you are under 18 and we don’t have your details you won’t be allowed into the festival. It’s a painless process and won’t take long but will make your life much easier when you get to homegrown.
Must be with a legal guardian at all times if aged under 15 years.
Children under the age of 5 will be entitled to free entry, they will not require a ticket to gain entry.

Stan Walker Biography
Heralded as one of the finest soul/rnb voices to emerge from Australia/New Zealand, Stan Walker is an artist that fits every playlist. Not only has Stan earned a total of 6 gold and 4 platinum singles as well as 1 double platinum and 1 triple platinum single in New Zealand across 5 studio albums, he’s collected 8 New Zealand Music Awards along the way. He’s won the Waiata Māori Award for Radio Airplay Record of the Year 5 times, in 2010, 2011 and then 3 consecutive years in a row from 2013 - 2015. In 2018 Stan released his self-titled EP, ‘Stan’, celebrating his triumph over cancer.
Stan is a talented song writer & composer. He also is the drive, creative director & director of his music videos. Stan’s live performance are legendary, as well as headlining his own National Tours, Stan has shared a touring stage with Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Ciara, Jay Sean, Travie McCoy, Ja Rule, Akon, The Exponents and Jessica Mauboy.
Stan is also an actor with 6 motion pictures and 1 short film, ‘Mt Zion’, ‘Born To Dance’, ‘Hunt For The Wilderpeople’, 'Poi E', ‘The Stolen’, ‘Chasing Comets’ and 'Nerds In Love'. In addition to his passion for music and film, Stan is a leading humanitarian and is a staunch advocate for Māori/Pacific and Indigenous people best represented in the stunning video for ‘New Takeover’, and his work on the track ‘Aotearoa’.
After a five-year absence and surviving a life-threatening illness, Stan Walker heralds his return to Australia – healthy, happy, strong and with new music and tour dates announced. Stan’s new EP FAITH HOPE LOVE is released on May 31st and he will set out on a national tour that will see him travel across Australia in August 2019. Tickets on sale from June 3rd.
FAITH HOPE LOVE is a particularly special and poignant release. This 5 track EP is dedicated to the victims of the Christchurch shooting and is Stan’s way of offering support to those affected. A devout Christian, Stan took time after the event to spend time at the Al Noor Mosque – offering assistance and support to those affected and, in his own way, try to understand the events of that fateful day in March 2019. Proceeds from the sale of the EP will go to Muslim families affected by this event.
