There’s a party brewing in downtown Prosper! Completion of downtown road construction has literally paved the way to the nearly 40 merchants open for business and it’s time for Prosper to celebrate! The Town will host Prosper DownTown Live! on May 24, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., in and around the downtown area of Broadway and Main Streets. Come enjoy this free event featuring live entertainment (Emerald City Band is the headliner!), local musicians and bands throughout the event, a Kid's Activity Zone, food trucks, and beverage sales brought by The Gin and Silo Park.

To prepare for a smooth and fun experience, arrive early and take the free shuttle! Park at Reynolds Middle School (700 N. Coleman Street) or Prosper High School (301 Eagle Drive) and ride the shuttle to and from the event. The area in and around downtown Prosper has limited parking.

Festivities kick off with local talent at 4:00 p.m. Live performances will continue throughout the day and evening, which also includes a Memorial Day salute led by the Prosper Historical Society. Emerald City is expected to take the stage about 8:45 p.m.

Known as “The Best Party Band in America,” Emerald City is a 12-piece group best described as “motion, movement, and energy” that electrifies audiences with high-energy dance songs from the past and the hits of today.
