Kyoka

kyoka is a talented musician, she plays the piano, syamisen (a kind of banjo), and flute. kyoka starting composing original lyrics and music in high school, and as a University of Rikkyo student, was a vocalist in an alternative band called Kakke. While attending university, kyoka learned to compose and arrange her unique music using a computer. In Tokyo she is a hair & make-up model, and a photographer. Besides her native Japanese language,she speaks English,and good Spanish. kyoka is a very energetic, outgoing person. She has visited Europe, Asia, and the United States, enjoying travel and cultural explorations on her own. kyoka's music is unique and inspirational. She imagines the world rather than Japan, when she thinks about and writes music. She has performed in Europe and the US at Live House, and radio shows (KXLU in Los Angeles, Resonance FM in London, Radio100 in Amsterdam, and Japanese radio stations.) and in June, 2003, presented a 50-minute radio show on KXLU radio 88.9 FM in Los Angeles. On June 5,2004 Kyoka was listed as Number 5 on the ccj chart, continues in November 2004 at number 15 ,and on March 22,2005 at number 2 on the same chart. Then she came to present her own small show named "Postcards from kyoka" on Resonance FM in London since July 2005. In this small radio show she pretending the comedy character named mini-kyoka, who is not polite girl. But she help Japanese lives in foreign to remember ordinary easy-forgettable Japanese etiquette. The name of this part is "the etiquette lecture for Japanese" . Kyoka is certainly a very talented Asian Artist for the 21st Century!
