About this concert
Plan to kick off summer with the FREE Downtown Days Festival, presented by Lee's Summit Medical Center, Friday through Sunday, June 7, 8 & 9. Live entertainment, carnival rides, sports & autograph booth, festival food, handcrafted goods, and two beer tents featuring craft beer are part of this year’s festivities.
2019 Festival Hours:
Friday, June 7: 12pm-10pm
Saturday, June 8: 10am-10pm
Sunday, June 9: 11am-4pm
For more than 20 years, Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street has been hosting this family-friendly festival in the heart of Downtown Lee’s Summit. The Downtown Days committee has worked to make the event fresh every year by bringing new attractions and entertainment options to the festival.

Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear Biography
Real Bio: Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear consists of Madisen Ward; and Ruth Ward. They are a modern soulful/folk music duo. Performing mostly all original written music in various coffee houses, for anyone who will listen. Fake Bio: Madisen Ward grew up in a haunted farmhouse in the late 1800s; surviving on only Robins eggs and cactus milk. He plays music mostly to forget about his rotten past as a blind matador. Ruthie 'Mama Bear' Ward was a 14th century opera singer; burning wicker chairs in the fire place of her living quarters. She only performs music to get revenge on the murderer of the Renaissance Era. Musicians. Modern soulful folk music.
