Graeme James

When he was just seven years old, New Zealand-born Graeme James had high hopes of one day becoming a classical concert violinist. But chasing that dream took him down some interesting musical paths, including folk and Celtic music he performed with his family's band. In 2010, James finally put down the violin and picked up the tool that would make him a star: A loop pedal. By using this pedal to record and layer sounds live on stage, James is able to turn himself into a unique, multi-instrumental one-man band, blending electric violin, guitar, bass, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, beatboxing and more.
