HatePH34R Biography

Hailing from the cold northeast, Jesse Gardner, better known by his stage name HatePH34R, spills his heart out on his first EP “Thorazine Dreams”. All 6 tracks of Thorazine Dreams weave handfuls of genres together seamlessly to create a complex representation of HatePH34R in music form. Inspired by underground rap legends, horror flicks, psychedelics, nerd culture and dripping with metal influences, Thorazine Dreams is a sonically fresh take on rap as a whole. With production credits from Seattle’s infamous S.A.T., Matty Labonte, and HatePH34R himself, the songs on this album are sure to be stuck in your head for weeks. Whether it’s the hard-hitting and sinister beat from Not Alone, or the mellow, introspective and somber title track Thorazine Dreams, this EP offers something for everyone. “Not Alone”, the first track on the album, features a guest verse from LA native Sadistik, and underscores HatePH34R’s love of the gruesome and macabre. “Low Grind” displays the wide variety of influences that HatePH34R draws from, blending soaring post-2000’s pop and electronic with some heavy-hitting vocals and deep basslines. HatePH34R’s live shows are intense and filled with crowd interaction and intricate light shows, with HatePH34R drawing his stage presence from his earlier days as a metal musician.
