About this concert
Quatre acteurs, Raphaëlle, Sonia, Simon et Mikhaïl, attendent d’être appelés sur scène pour poursuivre leur travail d’entrée en salle. Entre la coulisse du théâtre et le salon des acteurs, les spectateurs assistent à leur attente, à leurs jeux pour se désennuyer, à leur possible répétition de la pièce. Jamais ils ne sont eux-mêmes, toujours changeants. Ou peut-être est-ce cela pour eux, être eux-mêmes ; être plusieurs personnes à la fois ? Les acteurs jouent, tout simplement, parce que c’est ce qu’ils savent faire.
Soutenue par un humour grinçant alliant drame et comédie, cette pièce de Marius Von Mayenburg est une ode à la liberté de l’acteur. Par l’entremise de glissements incessants entre réalité et théâtralité, ou encore d’une déconstruction des lieux et du temps, la pièce dépeint un monde en crise, incertain, criblé de mensonges. Les références à la théorie de l’évolution et à la célèbre caverne de Platon ajoutent au ludisme de l’œuvre. Comme quoi, à trop chercher le sens des choses, on trouve l’absurdité de l’existence.

Perplex Biography
There are three artists called Perplex:
1. Israeli psytrance artist
2. Swedish pop band
3. Polish avant-garde jazz trio
1. Perplex, who is also known as Ronen Dahan, was born 1974 in Haifa, Israel. He grew up in small community near Tel Aviv. By the age of 14 he had started a small rock band, in which he played the guitar and was the lead singer. His main influences back then were Depeche Mode and other new wave artists who were all the rage at the time.
With 17 years of age, he went on his tour of Australia and Europe. When he got back to Israel. The first Techno had arrived from Northern Europe to which he felt attracted.
Shortly after, in 1993 Trance also came to the Middle East in a big way. He immediately liked this style even more. Sven Vath and the likes of Slinky Wizard gave his ears something he had never heard before. He quickly dropped the band and became a DJ collecting records from the likes of The Infinity Project and Matsuri records. By then other artists also came creeping in from Goa to Israel.
He began using DAT, since this new music was more underground on not available on vinyl. His local heroes in those days were Gay Sabag and Avi Nissim. When he was 21 years old he made his first trip to Goa. It was there that Trance Music took over his whole life and he met Riktam and Bansi (GMS) for the first time.
After that Perplex followed his dream to make music and has produced till today 9 albums and more then 3 dozen compilation's in the main labels in the world of psy & electronic such as Spun rec, Hommega rec, BNE rec, Phonokol rec, Fineplay rec Jp, Compact rec, Utopia rec, And the list is long … In these days Perplex is producing New DVD "Around The World”, 45 min of Music and Parties from the entire world.
