FlynnMusic Biography
Flynn is an Irish alt-pop artist who blends raw emotional vocals and introspective lyrics to create unforgettable songs.
Originally from Mullingar, Ireland, Flynn's passion for music was sparked at an early age. At 19, he packed his bags and ventured to Bristol where he fell in love with the city's live music scene, playing open mic nights every week to craft his sound.
He then spent time in London honing his songwriting skills while working with some great co-writers including Sky Adams (Kylie Minogue, Gorgon City) Jez Ashurst (Leona Lewis, Little Mix) Mark Vallance (Tom Walker, Zak Abel) Blair Mackichan (Will Young, Paloma Faith)
On returning to Ireland he played his tracks to DIY label DFL who loved his sound and helped him release 3 singles independently, gaining over 6 million streams in a matter of months.
Flynn's debut single 'Red Light' reached No.5 in Irish Breaking Radio Charts. He was named Hometown Hero on Today FM and Rising Artist 2019 by RTE 2FM. He has been added to Spotify's leading playlists including New Music Friday, The Pop List and Pop Rising, as well as ranking high in Spotify's viral charts in over 10 countries!
In Flynn's current single “Recognise” he features as vocalist/songwriter in collaboration with Lost Frequencies
