Kinder (Aus) Biography
Ghanaian-Australian singer, songwriter and producer sibling duo Kinder (aka Savannah and Briony Osei) are back with their latest musical offering ‘Lightyears’.
As teenagers, Savannah and Briony slowly began to immerse themselves in club culture, finding their way to Sydney on occasion to DJ at the city’s hallowed clubs. Those hole-in-the-wall slots quickly became headline slots, which became festival and stadium slots, opening for genuine stars of the form like Marshmello, Riton, Alison Wonderland, Elderbrook, Rita Ora and RL Grime, and performing on national festival circuits. Career highlights came quickly: their first national festival tour, Groovin’ the Moo, allowed them to play for huge crowds, while a set on triple j’s Friday Mix gave the sisters a chance to show off their skills mixing and selecting.
Kinder signed to Warner Music in 2020.
The duo have since taken the Aussie dance music scene by storm, hustling for a series of stellar wins including their unforgettable triple j Like A Version of Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right”, DJ-ing the Vogue x Barbie event, performing at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and played some of the country’s biggest festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Dark Mofo, Spilt Milk, Field Day, Listen Out and many more.
