Jeff Blackwood Biography
Jeff Blackwood is a solo musician and multi-instrumentalist/producer from Kincardine, Canada.
He has degrees in both music production as well as music business from Fanshawe College and MetalWorks Institute. After working as a booking agent for Live Tour Artists (2014), Blackwood began perfecting his craft. Having utilized a local venue and initiating an open mic series, Blackwood created a music platform for local talent to perform weekly.
Within two years of writing and recording in Catherine North Studios (The Arkells; City and Colour [Dallas Green of Alexisonfire]), Blackwood released “Looking in The Wrong Place” garnering impressive radio rotation. His newest single, “Closer to the Truth” in which Blackwood performed each instrument on the track aside from bass and lead guitar, was also mixed and produced by the artist.
In 2018, Jeff Blackwood continues to write and release new music as well as performing in solo acoustic arrangement settings or with his Toronto based band.
