7 Less Biography

7 Less is a pop/rock band from California who has a sound that occupies the same path as The 1975, Onerepublic, and James bay.

7 Less has just finished playing over 80 shows in a 4 month tour in Canada. Traveling and playing from British Columbia to Ontario and all states in between, they have won the hearts of many Canadian fans that have helped build their brand.

Rasec Marc (vocals/guitar) was born in October 1993 in California. At age 11, he picked up an acoustic guitar and taught himself to play through a book his father gave him. Results of musical talent were evident from that point on. The struggle of high-school has made Rasec constantly pour his emotions through song-writing to cope up with his adventurous childhood.
In his late teens, a meeting with Ryan Tedder backstage after a One Republic concert, struck a conviction in Rasec to pursue music all out, despite being raised in a traditional, professional career-oriented environment.

John Htun (drums/vocals) is a self-taught Burmese-American drummer. The son of highly praised Burmese artist David Htun Htun, he moved to the US in 2003. In 2016, John has played multiple shows in the LA area with artist Ryan Ramirez and became Australian Megachurch Hillsong LA’s drummer. It was in 2016 when he met singer Rasec Marc and after tag teaming in a few shows together, decided to fuse into what is now known as 7 Less. In March 9th 2017 John got endorsed by Zion Cymbals who have put a tremendous trust in the band, endorsing a couple of music videos and signing a contract for the band’s upcoming projects.
