About this concert
Nobody's Girl (aka BettySoo, Rebecca Loebe, & Grace Pettis) at the Rawhide Trails House Concert! From the Rawhide Trails House Concert Website: "House concerts are an alternative to going to a commercial music venue like a restaurant or bar. Held in a private home and attended mostly by friends, neighbors, co-workers and other invited guests, a house concert presents an intimate setting ideal for listening and, importantly, devoid of loud and rowdy drunks. A suggested donation goes to the artist, who often makes more from donations and sales than would be the case at a commercial venue. No money goes to the house. We book fairly well-known artists and attendance is by invitation only. (To receive an invitation, you must join our mailing list.) For most shows we collect donations in advance to hold a reservation. The suggested donation is $20 per person. All donations go to the artist. If you submit your donation by check, the check must be made payable to the artist. While we could set up an outdoor show, we don't: We've discovered that a living room concert provides unparalleled intimacy and an extraordinary experience for our 60-70 guests. Guests are asked to bring their own drinks and a contribution for a potluck dinner. Typically held on a Sunday, the pot luck dinner (BYOB) and social hour with the artist will begin at 5:30 pm. We set up serving tables and provide plates, napkins, plastic glasses and tableware, ice, water, and iced tea. We have not yet had to assign potluck contribution categories and don't want to start, yet all has worked out—the food has been fabulous and the meal reasonably balanced. So bring what you enjoy best! The musical performance will ordinarily begin at 7:00 pm, consisting of two 45-minute sets with a 30-minute break. During the break and after the performance, guests will have the opportunity and are encouraged to buy CDs and other merchandise from the artist. All merchandise sales proceeds go to the artist. We have plenty of chairs available for seating, so no need to bring your own. If you need any special accommodation, please call and let us know how we can help make you feel welcome. Nobody's Girl Biography

Nobody’s Girl is an Austin based songwriting trio formed by award-winning writers and performers BettySoo, Rebecca Loebe, and Grace Pettis. After years of running into each other at festivals and shows on the road, the three South Austin neighbors have united to create something truly special.

Their harmonies' unique vocal blend is on display in their first full length album, the self-titled Nobody’s Girl, which comes out via Lucky Hound Music on July 10, 2020. The new record features nine original tunes that the trio co-wrote together for this project, as well as two hand-picked originals. Produced by Michael Ramos (Patty Griffin, Lila Downs, Pat Green, etc.), the group are perfectly framed by a who’s who of modern legends from the Austin music scene.

The first singles: “Kansas” (March 6th), “Rescued” (May 15th), and “Tiger” (June 19th) are crystal clear examples of the chemistry these
three writers share. In these songs – and the record as a whole – they explore themes of personal, social, and political division; rebelling
against societal expectations; and leaving behind confining expectations of family and small hometowns. They ruminate on the challenges of finding one’s path in the world, being on the verge of making really bad decisions in the face of mounting stress, mourning the end of something good, being unsure of the legacy of our collective histories…and also letting loose and having some fun. There’s beauty and depth.

They will be touring the US and abroad in support of this album after its release in July and will kick things off with an official showcase at
SXSW in Austin in March. A June 7th taping of Mountain Stage (NPR) should air the weekend of the new albums’ release or the weekend
thereafter.
