LouSkylar

LouSkylar is an emerging indie-electronic/electro pop act with flavours of jazz, hip-hop and future bass. The Australian-Irish duo, is reflective of an eclectic Melbourne sound, comprised of composer/producer, Nathan Batham, and vocalist/lyricist, Jessica Frizziero. Their synth heavy sound is enriched with jazz infused keys that work to ignite the lyrically rich vocals. Paying homage to artists such as Flume and AlunaGeorge, phat synths and hard hitting, hip-hop percussion are paired with dainty yet soulful vocal tones to disrupt the traditional form of the electronic genre. Full of tasty melodic fillers, vocal chop ups and anecdotal lyrics, LouSkylar have used their respective jazz and indie-folk roots to create an enriching and dynamic sound. Their debut single is expected for release later this year.
