Scorn Of Creation

Playing a style of aggressive, raw death metal reminiscent of the genre's pioneers such as Morbid Angel, Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse with a modern technical twist, the debut album is like a breath of fresh air in the modern climate of extreme music.


Vocalist Kris Gillan (ex Mindfuck), Guitarist Seth Jackson (ex Bulletbelt) Bassist George Prowse (ex Backyard Burial, The Dauntless) and prolific drummer Shaun Anderson (The Dauntless, Saving Grace, Depths) are a seasoned collective of some of New Zealand's most crushing live acts and have come together to form a brutal new project set to take the underground metal scene by storm.

Since the band started posting teaser videos of pre-production and tracking for their inaugural effort, countless New Zealand metal fans have been salivating in anticipation of the release's announcement.


'Scorn of Creation' features guest vocals from Carnal's Dan Birrell and Bulletbelt's Jolene Tempest, the album has received rave reviews since release and debuted at no. 3 in the NZ album's top 20 charts the first week of February 2018.

After playing their album release show to a sold out venue and having just opened for international heavyweights Cattle Decapitation, Scorn Of Creation are set for a New Zealand tour in 2018 and show no signs of slowing down!
