It's safe to say that 2018 has been a very good year for Liverpool's Robert Vincent so far. February saw his second album, I'll Make the Most of My Sins, win UK Album of the Year at the UK Americana Awards, and this was followed a week later by his first TV appearance, which came on the one-off revival of the much-loved Old Grey Whistle Test; the Liverpool singer having been personally invited to perform by Bob Harris ("He is the real deal" said Whispering Bob).\nSince then he has delivered acclaimed festival performances at both the Ramblin' Roots Revue and the Black Deer Festival, and his profile received a huge boost when he was invited to support Roger Waters' British Summer Time gig at Hyde Park in early July; Robert and his band playing to a crowd of thousands alongside the likes of Squeeze, Richard Ashcroft and Seasick Steve. Not that he is a stranger to the big stage, having supported Paul Carrack and The Pretenders, among others, at venues including The Royal Albert Hall; and he will be supporting Duane Eddy on the latter's forthcoming UK tour. So his star is very much in the ascendancy.\nWe are therefore beyond delighted to be able to bring Robert and his band to Great Easton for a very special and intimate evening of music this November - who knows how much longer he'll be playing venues of this size? Not long, we suspect.
