Brainpower Biography
Brainpower (Gertjan Mulder) is a popular Dutch MC whose career rocketed after winning the Grand Prix of the Dutch Talent Show in 1998. In 2001 he released his long-awaited debut album Door Merg & Brain ('Through Bonemarrow & Brain').
In 2005 Brainpower released his thirth album, Even Stil. In a song called Magnetische Velden (Magnetic Fields) with Kool Keith, Keith raps about his history with the Ultramagnetic MC's and his meetings with Brainpower.
In 2008 his fouth (double) album was released, called Hard/Hart (Hard, Heart). As expected the music and lyrics from disc one and two differ. With more witty and upbeat tracks on the "Hard" disc and more intense and slower tracks on the "Heart" disc.
Brainpower is also part of the Dutch crew ADHD which also includes Dicecream.
