Shadow Of Acolyte Biography
Shadow Of Acolyte is a Melodic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band from the East Midlands, UK.
Taking influence from both the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and Progressive Rock, the band was formed in 2008 by Aaron Gidney (guitars) with David Hitchcock (ex-drummer).
Debut album, ‘Nicene Creed’ was released in September 2013 and is journey through the Nicene Creed, fusing melodic vocals, hard rock riffs and progressive rock passages.
The band’s current lineup was finalised in 2017 following co-founder, David Hitchcock’s departure and the band have been performing live across the East Midlands since June.
A new EP, ‘Holy Ground’ was written and recorded in 2017 and released on 5 January 2018.
