Gypsy_Stone_Kings Biography

Out of work musicians are, as Jim Morrison so eloquently put it, like a dog without a bone. Gypsy Stone Kings don't care about being rich millionaire rock stars, although a little money to a band is better than nothing to a karaoke machine or DJ. Gypsy Stone Kings play because they love to play. Their sound is unique for today, but more of a tip of the hat to a bygone era, when rock n roll would really make you move, and would move you inside. Gypsy Stone Kings take that magical knowledge and power handed down to them by their elders: Johnny Winter, Billy Gibbons, Buddy Holly, Clarence Clemons, John Lennon, and the great Steve McQueen, Gypsy Stone Kings decipher the codes, channeled through the ears, mind, heart, and soul, and then expels it out in a violent, beautiful, chaotic fury. Their music has been well received, with some audiences attendees proclaiming that Gypsy Stone Kings, or GSK for short, "kicks ass!" Other comments range from "WOW! You guys are GREAT!", to, "Man! You guys are BAD ASS! Do you guys know any Godsmack?"...no, we don't. These comments, the Gypsy Stone Kings do not take lightly, for it is their ultimate goal that one day everyone... or at least a great many people with exquisite taste... will list them as one of their favorite, local go-to bands to suit their rock-n-roll withdraws.

So, who are the "Gypsy Stone Kings"? Best described as a "blues-laden, soul-filled, punkish, Southern, rootsy-Americana Rock" 4-piece professional musician project.

The Gypsy Stone Kings are currently having great success with promotion of their debut album, which is getting much airplay in the Louisville area, via radio and internet streaming stations namely WFPK, WRZI, WCHQ and LRS102.com. In March 2019, GSK was selected as one of 100 artists from around the world by Blast-FM LTD for their promoters campaign, based on the original music submitted to Reverbnation. BlastFM is a premium streaming radio network with 27 servers world wide, where music is heard globally. They hold ten radio syndications with a global reach of 1.3 billion in organic reach. They have even appeared on WHAS-11’s Great Day Live, not only promoting GSK's original music/album, but promoting many benefits GSK are usually spearheading or involved in (i.e. Wounded Warriors Project, Prostate Cancer Awareness, Children's Music Programs/Involvement just to name a few).

What do they have to offer? They cover all bases with classic to modern music hip enough to fill a dance floor or bang your head to.They are prepared to entertain with 4+ hours of cover and original music.
