German Version: Als Mauro mit 7 Jahren sein ertes Klavier bekam, ahnte er noch nicht, dass seine musikalische Laufbahn ihn in die Gefilde der Elektronischen Musik führen würde. Geprägt von Pink Floyd und Jean Michelle Jahre war Mauro schon sehr früh von diesem Stil beeinflusst. Angesteckt von einem Freund gab es für den 15 jährigen Mauro dann Anfang '93 kein Halten mehr. Unter dem Pseudonym Krusty machte er sich bis Ende 2006 mit Jungle Breakbeats, 2step, Big Beats bishin zu Breaks deutschlandweit einen Namen und schaffte es immer wieder die Meute in seinen Bann zu ziehen. Mauro hat schon viel ausprobiert und somit viele Facetten ausgelebt. Ob es Trip Hop, Turntableism oder DJ beim Musical HAIR war, Musik bewegte stehts sein Leben und sein Leben bewegte die Musik gleichermaßen. Nach einer langen musikalischen Reise führte ihn sein Weg seit 2006 in den Techno und House Bereich. Außerdem vertieft er sich immer mehr ins Produzieren und veröffentlicht 2011 seinen ersten Track CALM WATER auf "der turnbeutel". Damit öffnet sich für ihn abermals eine neue Tür. Aber Mauro ist nicht nur DJ und Produzent, er betreibt ebenfalls seit Ende 2011 das Label AUDITIVE und veranstaltet in liebervoller Arbeit und oft in Kollaboration AUDITIVE Nächte. Das Netwerk um Mauro Basso wächst und gedeiht! Somit schaffte er es in kurzer Zeit ein breit gefächertes Repertoire an Releases auf diversen Labels zu veröffentlichen. Mit Auftritten in Spanien, der Schweiz und deutschlandweit entführt Mauro sein Publikum immer auf eine neue Reise und besticht dabei durch seine langjährige Erfahrung. Mittlerweile kann man Mauro immer öfter als Live-Act auf der Bühne erleben. Dabei werden seine Produktionen intuitiv performt. 2013 wird ein tolles Jahr mit Releases auf Bubbles on the Air und Mauros Vinyl Debut auf AUDITIVE!
