AcoustiCafe Band Biography

AcoustiCafe is the collaboration of high school sweethearts, Jeff & Linda, their daughter Sarah, and Sarah's husband David, all who have a love of acoustic style classic rock and folk songs.

Growing up listening to rock radio, Sunday afternoons always included The Acoustic Cafe...a quieter, more laid back radio show comprised of acoustic versions of favorite classic songs. Jeff, Linda, Sarah and David's family acoustic project, AcoustiCafe, fits perfectly with lunch crowds, happy hours and quiet evening events where a more laid back and light-hearted acoustic set of favorite classic songs is desired. Along with the standard classic rock genre, AcoustiCafe adds acoustic versions of folk rock, country and pop, as well as a healthy dose of vocal harmonies.

Linda, a Registered Nurse / Nurse Manager by profession, has been singing since her childhood in a variety of local and regional settings, from schools and churches to local bands and recording a CD with the Southern Gospel group, 7th Voice. She and husband Jeff have been playing together since high school and married soon after graduation. She has been cast in multiple community dramatic Christmas and Easter musical productions at Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie, Md.

Jeff, an Audio Visual Systems Integration Manager by trade, has been playing guitar since his tweens in school jazz bands, local rock bands, even Nuclear Submarines. Interested in the techie side of music production as well, he attended Music Production and Engineering classes at Berklee College of Music. He currently uses that expertise serving as the volunteer Technical Director at his home church (Faith Glen Burnie in Glen Burnie, Md) and is the Sound Technician and Systems Designer with the Southern Gospel group, 7th Voice.

Sarah is an avid CosPlayer, Voice Actor and YouTuber by day (and night). She shares a love of music and vocal harmony with parents Jeff and Linda, as well as all things Animal-related. Currently she is studying Web Development and American Sign Language at AACC.

David, a talented visual artist with Atomic Hog Animation by day, provides various tasty flavors of percussive accents and punctuations (and a damn good James Taylor vocal) to AcoustiCafe since joining.

AcoustiCafe is also an avid supporter of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness, as Sarah suffers from this incurable disease, and they have pledged to donate a portion of all proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in hopes of making "CF" stand for "Cure Found".
